Don't think MVG will ever get the level back he used to have Pre Covid, think his arm and wrist issues have done him in. He has the game in bursts of varying lengths but the consistency is just not there now.

Agreed, but then every now and then he chucks in a huge average. Like last week against Littler, average 108 and hit his doubles and still lost. But yeah, sadly past his best now. Not sure he will ever win another major now.

Darts was actually lucky the Nuke came along at the time he did, for 20 years it rode along on the back of Taylor then he retired in 2018 and MVG took up some of the slack for 4-5 years but he was on the decline by the time Littler turned up and exploded the game to another level again.

No disrespect to Humpo but I don't think him, Honker and co would be getting the level of publicity darts gets now.
