Not watched any of the world cup yet surprised that Littler not in?
He's only ranked 25 due to rankings counting over a two year period, and players are picked on how high they rank.
Humphrey and Smith are ranked waaay higher than lLittler.

Glad England won, but I struggled to get interested in the World Cup of darts as much as I thought I would.
England should dominate this trophy for a while you'd think.

Littler out first round to some bloke I've never heard of, who threw quite well tbf! Littler was terrible, averaged 79 and looked rusty as hell.
He had changed darts for some reason and switched back towards the end of the game, but it was too late by then. Let's see if he's any better tomorrow.

It's two different events, back to back so he gets one more chance tomorrow. Low prize money for both events, think a max of £15K for the winner. He won the first players championship of the year, only played in a few of the others. This is now event 11, with 12 tomorrow.

Damn, the final of the Players Championship 11 was really good, 107 avg vs 104 avg. Crazy good standard considering both players are not ranked inside the top 12.
