General Darts Thread

Seeing Wades first worlds appearance back at the Tavern back in the day got me thinking there can't be many left on the tour who played there in a Worlds these days. Looking at the lineup I believe just him and Barney this year.

They're the only ones still going also who have played at Lakeside, Circus Tavern and Ally Pally (without the legend Steve Beaton this year that is!).

The pressure must be incredible up there on the big stage.

Makes it even more remarkable how well Luke Littler handled it at just seventeen, and lest we forget, had a match dart as well.

I imagine it's a hella lonely place when you're having a shocker.

It's a bit like golf in the fact there's nowhere to hide, you can't blame how your opponent is playing like you could in say snooker or tennis. If you're doing crap it's all on you.
