I think the booing is getting a little worse, I'm always surprised how some players just seem to get booed for no real reason

11 darter was timely.
My Dad used to be a really good player back in the day... He finished 4th in the BDO World Masters one year. He's played all the big named players, he also finished top of the BDO averages one year which got him a nice little payout.Yeah they moved to Winmau I think around the time the BDO went under (Winmau used to be BDO boards).
They’re actually taking the Winmau world masters format to the PDC this year renaming their masters (it’s the next tv event I think after this one)

There's always a player who ends up being the pantomime villain, used to be 'one dart' Peter Manley for years. Just there is a lot more people there now so the booing is louder 
Price being a bit arrogant (certainly in his early days) became a lightening rod for it and has never really shook it off. Manley had the personality to lean into it eventually it became more friendly booing and he was a fan fave by the end, Price doesn't really have the same genial personality to pull it back round!
