Oh god damn. Heta played out of this world. He would beat any Darts Pro current or past playing like that, never mind an in form Littler. Pressure got to Littler right at the end too, missed crucial doubles to take it to a final leg. That said, IMO, even if he’d done that Heta would still have won his throw on that form. 126 average is outrageously superb. It’s a miracle it finished as close as it did thanks to Luke playing well.

One thing I’ve noticed. Players seem to raise their game against Littler. Almost every time
He’s lost in recent times his opponent has played well above his typical level. Heta produced something magical here, as much as I wanted (hoped) Littler would do it, sometimes you just have to admire brilliance.

Going to be criminal if it’s anything less than a Heta Humphries final. Luke better bring his A game as if Heta is even half as good as was against The nuke it’s going to be tough.
