I agree. Especially with the amount of winnings he has even at 18

Yeh, he's already talked about making a pile and retiring in his thirties, can't blame him TBH.

If he has any longevity in the game he’ll break all the records. Taylor didn’t win his first world title until he was 30 and was still making toilet roll holders in Stoke at Lukes age!

That’s where the biggest if will be though. Taylor knew hard times and certainly in the first half of his career he was playing to put food on the table and had that motivation to keep going.

Luke is going to have untold millions by like his mid 20’s and will have been flinging metal at the board all over the world and played a ton of darts. Michael Smiths already got arthritis and MVG has had wrist surgeries which have undoubtedly blunted his game so will Luke make it to playing in his 50’s? Doubtful tbh.

Plus the amount of young talent coming through, van veen, rock, wessel nijman all looking good, and possibly more younger players that we dont know of. Even 8 world championships to half taylors record would be a hard task i feel, 2 many players now and the standard has got so good
