Humpo had a great 23/24, defending a lot of monies.

Also it's on a two year cycle, so Littler has got less than two years still.

Litters got like 4 months with no money to defend so whatever he does at the Grand Prix, Grand Slams, Players champ finals is free money on his total. Humpo by contrast won all 3 in 2023 so is defending nearly £400k. Tbh I think Hump would have a job keeping the no 1 ranking even if he wins all 3 again as there is less than £300k between them and there is floor events and all sorts as well as the big TV stuff between now and then.

Players Championship 24/25 running tomorrow and Tuesday.

Player entries have been confirmed for next week's Players Championships 24-25 and the Jack's Casino World Series of Darts Finals Tour Card Holder Qualifier.

The latest instalment of ProTour action will take place at Arena MK on August 25-26, as some of the sport's biggest names compete for the £15,000 top prize in Players Championship Events 24 and 25.

The two tournaments will see a field of 128 players - comprised of PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members - competing across two days of action.

Play will commence at 1300 BST on each day, and coverage from four boards in each event will be streamed on PDCTV and across bookmakers' websites worldwide, with German commentary provided.

Player entries have also been confirmed for the Jack's Casino World Series of Darts Finals Tour Card Holder Qualifier, which will take place in Milton Keynes on August 27.

Six places in the Amsterdam event will be available, with 26 of the 32 qualification places confirmed.
