I have said this before what's the point of a grueling 16 week league phase for it to come down to a playoff night where you can lose.
I get it good for viewings but it harsh for the person who come top, in this case Littler was the clear winner over the weeks.

He only came back in the first place cos he was skint from his divorce I'm not sure his hearts really been in the game for donkeys years. Surely he could get together with Phil and make enough bunce on the exhibition circuit rather than slogging his guts out for little return on the tour now.
Yeah it’s a fair point, the format does need a rethink. Makes no sense if you really think about it and compare it to the Premier League in Football. Imagine Liverpool having to play one final game against Man City and if they lost they don’t win the title. That said, this is only now a thing due to the Littler effect.
