He did an interview the other day where he sort of made a joke at the end that came across like he was back-tracking a bit, then there was another interview where he jokingly dodged the question and started discussing the weather. Probably not but that opened the door slightly ajar. I think the PDC would take him if he was up for it.

For me, Clayton and Price have to be in it based on Clayton at #5 and Rock being very impressive past couple of years. Then I'd go with Price as like him or loathe him, he's box office. No Anderson gives me a headache as I'm less sure about the final spot... Bunting looked woefully out of his depth last time despite a strong year, Aspinall and Dobey have been a bit off the boil of late, I like the idea of Schindler in Berlin but you can't pick based off one night. So then I'm thinking do you go with Searle off the back of a strong WC, and the fact he's the highest ranked player I've not already addressed? I think I'd rather see a new face rather than someone like Wade, who is always there or thereabouts but we've seen it all before.

I’m more happy she hasn’t been picked because the PL can destroy careers and lots of players are never the same as a consequence.

Mark Webster and Wayne Mardle are prime examples of this.

Bunting only gets in because of his entrance and happy that Josh Rock has got the nod - a little gutted that Ando didn’t get a shot but I get the feeling he might have told them that it’s not for him anymore.

Yeah I wouldn't have argued with that .. although a lot of players don't do that well in their first prem league season.. so maybe he'll come good this one?!?... and it is a good walk on song ;)

Searle would have been a good addition though... maybe next year if he can keep his form..
 
Nice to see Rock given the chance, hope he can do well, the Belfast night will be unreal !!! Asp and Noppert maybe could have replaced Bunting ?

Early knock outs in the worlds all but sealed their fate. Then I remembered Bunting got knocked out early as well.

It's for his walk on though, there still loads of videos on SM about the aura of his walk on.

They should do the random player again, that was good get a local player for each round. Would be so much better for the buzz.
 
Just picked up a Winmau blade 6, first ever dartboard. It came with 6 brass darts. Do tungsten darts make a big difference or should I stick with brass until I can throw properly?
 
i would go to tungsten straight away, find a weight of dart that suits you, for me i find 23 gram a good starting point, standard no 2 shape flight, stem wise k flex is popular, try and get a throw and rhythm going, try and keep everything nice and straight.

Go Tungsten like Subzero said try a straight barrel dart if you can like the Winmau Navigators which are good value for the money. As your new to the game try and group the 3 darts together so if you're aiming for the treble 20 and it goes in the 1/5 or anywhere else try and see if you can make it that you can use 1 hand to take out all 3 darts.
