To be honest the Annie's have been sat in there box for months, lucky if they have had 10 hours of use. Keep us informed how you get on with the crack and 650's.

Anyone planning on getting the Sennheiser HD 630VB ? rather nice looking headphones aesthetically and specs

Just got the Audioquest Dragonfly 1.2 I have not tried it with my main rig yet but with my Viso HP50 it sounds really good. Detailed, spacious with a good bass punch. I would say it's neutral maybe even slightly to the warm side. What I love about it is it's absolutely tiny and pretty sweet looking.
Can't wait to hook the thing up to my HD650 and Crack.
Speaking of the main rig, the Crack and HD650 have been doing great. The soundstage keeps impressing, I hooked my mixamp up to it and gamed for a bit. I played The Phantom Pain which has some wicked positional cues, they sounded fantastic. Spacious, rich and good bass punch. I even felt about shifting my Q701 as I enjoyed what I heard but the Q701 still has a good stage and the convenience of just plugging it in the Mixamp is better for me.

Guys I want some headphones for watching films on my laptop. Would it be prudent to buy an external sound card if I'm going to be using a decent pair?

Not required , they are very easy to drive.I use it at work , plugged straight into 3.5 socket.
Certainly check out the signature of the sound as they lack in bass (really depends on what you listen to and how much you need); amazingly comfortable headphones , great sound.

First purchase since moving back across the pond:
Audioquest Nighthawk, definitely not what I would consider neutral sounding. Think a darker HD 650 with more sub bass, and a less forward mid range (not v-shaped, but not lush). More impressions to follow.

Time will tell I guess, the leather strap that mounts to the ear cups seems fairly durable. But who knows...
The arboform cups do look pretty nice.

Have your impressions changed from before? Better or worse than the HD650? Looking forward to more impressions, mainly in the vocals and low bass.

This is still early days yet but I wouldn't say my impressions of it have really changed all that much.
If you're interested in it, I would highly recommend demoing before purchase.
