General Knowledge questions?

You can sometimes have a bit of fun with stage names although many of the more common ones are widely known:
Reginald Dwight = Elton Hercules John
Marion Mitchell Morrison = John Wayne
Farrokh Bulsara = Freddy Mercury
Gary Anthony James Webb = Gary Newman
Paul Francis Gadd = Gary Glitter
Harry Rodger Webb = Cliff Richard

And so on, picking a few of them might be worth a bonus mark or two.
Cliff Richard is the only man to have had a number 1 in 5 consecutive decades.

One that's been puzzling me for years

Name four sports that use a net but not a ball?
I have badminton, ice hockey and fishing.

Hammer Throw & Discus are two that come to mind.

I thought of those too, but the 'net' in those isn't essential to the sport, they could be replace by a wall or some transparent aluminum ;)

With that logic, you could say that a net isn't essential to the sport of fishing, as a catch could be simply swung over onto land.

If so that only leaves two sports out of the four.

I know of some obscure sports that involve objects made out of paper/rubber/something else and kicked around over a net similar to a badminton net, but unlike badminton or ice hockey they've not made appearances in the Olympics.

IIRC the three sports I've listed are correct for the question.
