I normally see threads specific to cats/dogs/reptiles and such, but I can never contribute, so here is a pet thread that is for all types of pets.

I'll start.

Here's Melody. She's an African Grey and is 8 months old.

There's one of those in a house on my dog walking route that makes a loud noise exactly like a ringing phone. :p

I used to have a cat. I'd quite like another one. Been eyeing a few up on gumtree. Problem is I live in a flat now and would never let her/him outside. Would be worried they'd sneak out through an open window one day, never to return :(.
 
Bledd. wins the thread so far! Dexter is an awesome cat, especially continuing the tradition of sitting in bags.

Not strictly a pet as such, but this is a bantam hen that escaped from someone a few streets away from me.

She arrived in my yard a few months ago and has stayed ever since. Ive nicknamed her henning bird.

Well, that little lizard thing in between the spider and snake is OK. The rest are my worst nightmare in a sequence of photos, what's with all the bugs? (The snake is alright, they don't bother me).

A cockroach and a millipede as pets?!
