Excellent new drama about Iraq if anyone interested. It has just started on C4

This came out ages ago :/

You got me excited there was moooore

Le_Petit_Lapin · 7 Oct 2009 at 23:27

From the makers of "The Wire" isn't it? Should be good!

jp_bl_68 · 7 Oct 2009 at 23:29

I'm recording it. If it's anything like The Wire then one episode a week won't be enough.

It was shown on FX about a year ago.

It's a brilliant show, too bad it only ran for 1 series.

Y'all know it's based on a book written by Evan Wright (Reporter) recording his own experiences as an embedded reporter with the marines. Having a fictional second series based would kind of ruin it don't you think brah?

Yeah saw it then, was hoping this was about another series.

SixTwoSix · 8 Oct 2009 at 09:24

Must...resist...urge...to....watch....again!!!

Absolutely awesome series, just hard to watch if you've already seen Eric/Iceman in True Blood

Skully · 8 Oct 2009 at 10:28

I watched it on FX, bought the DVD and now the book.

Both the book and the series are phenomenal. Can't get bored watching it with the sound up or having a good read.

GET SOME

Emlyn_Dewar · 8 Oct 2009 at 10:52

Gotta love the sing songs they have driving about, awesome series

The Dread Pirate · 8 Oct 2009 at 15:29

Saw bits of it between my book reading session thought it was quite good

p4radox · 8 Oct 2009 at 17:43

Just watched episode 1 on 4od. Pretty impressed actually: it's no Band Of Brothers, but I'll definitely be watching the rest of the series.

reflux · 8 Oct 2009 at 17:48

I watched the first episode, but I thought it was a bit cheesy. Just didn't have the depth that Band of Brothers did, which is the benchmark tbh.

SB118 · 23 Jan 2010 at 13:10

Reporting in several months behind everybody else. Watched this during the week, cracking good show.

Obviously didn't have the depth of BoB as they only had 3 weeks of war to work with, but i think it did justice to the characters.

Some impressive "oh f....." moments in the action too.

Need a better surround system now!
