Anybody running Generic DDR2 and does it run ok.?

The reason i ask is that i've seen an online shop selling Generic DDR2-800MHz
for £66.92 inc.VAT per 1gb stick.

I remember the old Generic Sdram modules could be abit flakey and unstable , In the past and i have always avoided them but i wasn't sure if modern day generic
ram is any better than it used to be.

If it's the place I'm thinking of it's Infineon RAM and it didn't clock. The OcUK stuff at £147 Incl. VAT is very, very good but so is the Team RAM at £10 more.

Your e-mail is bouncing - 'Error 550 - Relay not allowed' but the simple answer is yes. I actually received two different sticks of RAM (they are sold singly) and check out where it says CAS latency - 'Various' which I think says it all. And I had a nightmare trying to return them. And if you want to collect from store then I think they actually charge more than is on the website.

The OcUK Value RAM performs like Crucial Anniversary by comparison.

Sorry.

Thanks for the Info on the RAM
