German Grand Prix 2012, Hockenheim - Race 10/20

Just a moment of emotion, calm down boys and girls.

It clearly shows his state of mind when it's not going perfectly. Yet again announcing to the world how fragile he still is compared to the hungry ruthless animal he was.

Especially when he still has the car to end up well in the top 6.

In contrast Alonso gets on with it, calms his own team down and just keeps going even if it's not all ok.

Anyone else think that 67 laps is a stupidly high number of laps? I loved the old classic long Hockenheim track. 45 laps wasn't it? :(

So unless something goes wrong in terms of tyre punctures, pit errors, lapping collisions or weather it's surely between Alonso and Vettel for the win. Wouldn't be upset if Button somehow came home first though!

sentiment is correct - I dont agree with top 6 though (given how much time puncture would have cost him)

All top 5 /6 teams are very close

a good few points though

Old track was so great and loved by all. So natrually, they let Herman Tilke redesign it, and took out the best parts... 1.4 miles of blasting through the trees.

Old track was fantastic.

Amen. New Tilke tracks are bad enough. Tilke redesigned pre-existing tracks end up barely a shadow of their former selves.

And poor Hulkenberg. Getting passed twice in a few metres. :D Seems to be a day for the champions doing good.
