Germany or Netherlands?

Right,

I have the oppertunity in a few weeks time to go on a weekend break to either of these countries.

I really dont know which one i should visit... any help :p

You are German, so go abroad, not hard, is it? ;)
 
Netherlands, no contest. I worked in South Limburg for 3 years and loved it. Being in the deep south of Holland meant Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg were all in reach.

But a weekend in Germany would also be tops, but not as good as Holland. ;)
 
ive been to Germany many times and only briefly visited Holland and did like it but i absolutely love Germany so my vote goes to Deutschland!
 
In that case definitely Germany. Amsterdam is totally overrated and of all the places I went in the Netherlands it's the one I wouldn't have bothered visiting again, bit of a let down really. I missed getting to see Berlin, but everyone I know that went loved it and always wanted to go back. I lived in Germany just over the border from the Netherlands by the way.
