Get Carter.

Been a while since ive watched it, only thing i can think of is the appearance of a whisky bottle after lots of running for five minutes with nary a sign of it before?

Not the right one I don't think, you see him slip it into his pocket before the chase begins. :)

Sorry I don't know the fault but I'd assume from the previous comments it is something geographical. As a couple of guesses - the carts wouldn't have been running or the gunman couldn't have succeeded from where he was?

Everytime I've been to the multi-storey car park in Gateshead, my dad says Get Carter was filmed here. It got annoying. Still haven't seen the film in protest.

Its not a great film. If you view it with the fact that it was made so long ago in mind then its not bad but I don't agree with the hype.

Certainly better than the remake, but then that doesn't really take much.

I do take umbrage with the comment regarding the Italian Job and the remake. They're both good films. Its a shame the 'remake' was called the Italian job though, its a completely different film and hasn't really got anything to do with the original. If it had been called something else and been a totally standalone film it'd have been a decent modern heist film.
