Intel Z68 Sandy Bridge versus Z77 Ivy Bridge chipset comparison
http://tinkertry.com/sandybridgeversusivybridge/
So does this mean Z68 Gen3 boards vs Z77 boards running Ivybridge processors will have no tangible difference?
Wise words spoken and totally agree. Intel will probably release their Ivy’s and straight after the rumors will start to spread about their next chip and people will wait again.
I agree to a point. But with Ivy so close, set that as the date to upgrade and do so.
Look forwards not backwards, you are paying money afterall.
Decided I didn't want to wait any longer, should be getting 2500k delivered tomorrow (going from Q6600 - but want more RAM etc).
Ivy didn't look as huge improviement and 4 months is a long time in the computer world, plus I got a Gen 3 board so should be able to go Ivy if a deal comes up.
