have you seen the thread about the Need for Speed Prostreet demo on the PC forum ? its terrible and nothing at all like the underground series or even carbon / most wanted

which is such a real shame :(

they've ruined it totally now. the "pro" in the prostreet refers to the fact it all takes place on closed tracks and what have you. They have a new race called "grip" like normal racing, but with american helping stupid racing line indicators because they've no idea what corners are.

definately one im skipping, which is a shame, as i love the need for speed series.

Well seeing as I have all the games that have just come out (PES/FIFA/HL:OB/COD4/HALO3/PGR4 and getting Assasins Creed with the FHM sub there is nhothing else I need.

This has to be the BEST EVER aut/winter line up for games on all formats

I know it's nothing like the Underground/Carbon games, which is why I'm looking forward to it so much. I played and enjoyed the 360 demo that's available, and I love some of the ideas that are in the game (like racing weekends, having a set number of cars per weekend, persistent damage, etc). I've had my fill of "open world" driving games and I now definitely prefer driving games that are more structured. I'll still wait for a review before I make it a definite purchase, but I like the look of it so far.
 
360 hd-dvd drive + the 5 freebies (i'll be buying it and ordering them this week just not using it before xmas)

Save your money and buy a standalone HD-player if this is the format you wish to back. The 360 is crap and you dont get true-hd sound from it
 
Only thing on my xmas list, even though im buying it myself.... is

Guitar Hero III for the 360, which should be here within the next couple of weeks.
 
I've already received CoD4, but I'll put away my other preorders should they arrive before Christmas :)
 
was going to be the new zelda game on DS for me, but i couldnt wait so went and bought it myself :D

Getting the new tony hawks game for ps2, got them all so i can not get it, keeps me happy for a while and can keep the gf happy by letting her on the PC for a whlle to play sims :p lol
