Looking for a shop/somewhere in the high street where i can give them paper and they bind it all together. :p

Any ideas what to look for or google? :o

I thought all uni's/college's had somewhere you can bind work. Look for stationary/office services. I thought staples did binding? (someone clarify).

For some stupid reason, they require a weeks notice and i'd rather pay a bit extra and get it done in a day.

Staples will probably be one of the more expensive places.
Just phone any print shop (eg prontoprint) and ask.

if i remember rightly staples do it for about a pound or so. Just your classic plastic thing with see through cover. I think they do more expensive ones which look nicer. But then if your not doing an art course it doesn't really matter

Not entirely true, so i have heard.

It cost me about £20 for mine, but it was well presented and looked fab.

Cool. I wanted a ballpark figure and i thought it would be £20...well worth it - first impressions and all that. Besides, something that i can treasure and say: "Yes. I did it ALL in under 2 weeks!". :o :p

Kallkwik ... I've had great services from a variety of them in London.

Staples in Lincoln did a 3 for £20 service if I recall correctly. Shame my dissertation was a pile of rubbish else the other two copies would be proudly displayed somewhere.

Is it just binding or do you want like a proper hard cover etc? If it's just binding, I got mine done for 2 or 3 pounds. Go to the University of London Union (I'm pretty sure they won't check for ID or anything in case you aren't university of london) and they'l do it for you then and there. Takes about 2 minutes to do if there's no waiting.

Edit - found a link for you

And yea, is 2 quid if you just want the spiral binding

# Spiral binding with either wiro, heat or comb finish from £2
# A professional Thesis binding service with either a soft or hard bound option at £17 and £25 respectively.

Just make sure it corresponds with what the university decree about dissertations. Ours has really strict guidelines on card thickness and colour and a load of other things. :)
