Getting a Photo Printed onto a Coffee Mug

Ok, so basically I want to get an image I have on my PC digitally slapped onto the side of a mug for an xmas present.

Is there anywhere on the Highstreet that will do this for me? And if so how long will it take for them to do it?

Can I drop it in and collect it a few hours later or will it take longer?

I haven't actually looked for any yet. Going into town on Monday to see if I can get it done. Left it a bit late but hey :p

Was just wondering if anybody knew of any such places.
 
The sort of shops that print teeshirts etc usually do mugs, I’ve never had one made but I doubt it will take them long to do.

Stick it on a memory stick and carry that aswell, better quality if they don't have to scan the image and some quality will be lost during printing (especially on a home printer). That said it's going to be printed onto a mug so meh! :cool:
 
Most photo processing places can do that nowadays, and from a memory stick too, as Phog says. Might be a trek for you but I know for sure the photo stall in Bolton Marketplace does it.
 
I don't know if we are allowed to say names, but a large high street chemist chain do it I'm sure.. they used to do place mats, coasters etc with photos and I think they did mugs too :)
 
You're in Belfast?

Come out of Castle Court onto Royal Avenue, walk straight across the road, take a right and then a left onto Castle Place / High Street. Cross over to the right hand side of the roiad and walk down towards the Albert Clock about 400 yards until you come to the entrance to a multi storey car park. Just before the car park there is like a sort of shopping complex effort with loads of crappy shops. Go in there and there's a tshirt printing shop which does mugs and that sort of thing - they should do it while you wait too.

If there isn't one in there there is another similar small shopping complex on Royal Avenue. If you're standing at the doors of Castle Court looking out, cross the road and you'll see a small side street called Lower Garfield Street. The place is down there. SAme again, go in and wade through all the crap shops until you find the tshirt printing place.
