So I've just put my old loop in an Enthoo Primo. Gone for a blue coolant, RX240 and an RX360 in the roof. Don't want to post any pics yet because it's not quite finished (still waiting for some UV cathodes and a couple of bitfenix blue extension leads)
Temps are ok given how muggy it is. I'm on Prime95 load at 61C (1.37V) and on Heaven the 690 maxes out at around 51. I think this is because of the high is CPU voltage and the fact the CPU comes after the 240 and gets the warmer coolant.
Quick question though...
You know when you're in the first week of your new loop, and you can hear the odd bubble going round / seeing it drifting round the hosing, do you leave the top off the bay res to let it out?
Or do you seal the bay res?
Mine's quite safe if I leave the top off, because I put a bit of slack in the hoses so I could pull it out and fill it. It's just physics surely dictates if it's a sealed system, the air has nowhere to go.
Just wondered..
