Getting back boot menu after installing XP

Hi guys,

i had my system set up to dual boot with XP and Vista. I just had to reinstall XP due to some major problems, and now the boot menu has disappeared, and it goes straight into XP. I know that Vista uses a different way of booting other than the boot.ini that XP has, so how do i restore the menu again?
