Getting back into WoW...

Yeah that it pretty fail, The best thing i found was to buy the battlechest and then wotlk and cata from an online store.

Also it annoys me that you cant play on the US servers, I could have played with several american friends when i came back but that involves buying it all over again aswell... Even Rift & WAR i can change to US servers..

I'm just a levelling ***** these days since I came back.

Generally get my toon to 85 and get them heroic geared, get enough justice points to buy my next set of heirloom gear then onto the next alt.

Got a DK and hunter and onto my warrior now though thats only 10. Might do a Shammy side by side using my old hunter heirlooms.

I just enjoy taking my time, enjoying new zones and just chatting in Guild. Haven't enjoyed the game this much in a while.
 
Wow people weren't kidding when they said about fast levelling. My play time is just gone 2 hours and I'm level 14, being a hunter helps as well!

Level BM and you will have zero down time, just keep killing and killing and killing... then on the cata dungeons have a MM off spec and just laugh at the OP insane samage MM hunters do. I love going into dungeons (just got ready for heroics) having full epic chaps whining I will slow the run down then I blast out 13-14k dps with rubbish gear beating them hadns down :D

I'll edit tommorow afternoon with a proper link when im home but if you want a look now search "Zagoshi" on wow Europe armoury. That's my toon and just copy the BM tree.

Make sure you get a "tank" et for solo questing thoui used the bear (there are probably others) and I would struggle to take agro if I tried. Keep a separate dps pet for dungeons (raptor/tiger/wolf/spider) just make sure you use tank pet when questing it makes it soooo easy :) in a good way!
 
I quite liked leveling up another character since cataclysm and all the changes they made to Azeroth.... Makes me sad that Dalaran is now deserted most of the time :(

Can I just ask what side/realm you playing on?

There's the ocuk re roll guild on horde side Defias Brotherhood server. Still really active with raiders and socials (like myself) its a nice little group of players. Plus I'm levelling a new warrior andcould grab some dungeon groups :p
 
Just started playing WoW myself. Got the original game and expansions for £50 by shopping around, so not that bad considering new games are £30. You get a month free too.

If you think solo levelling is fast, try levelling with a friend. I got it so we could play together, and with the triple XP, I was level 60 in about a week.

Currently have a level 67 human paladin, and a level 11 or 12 worgen rogue. I wanted to go Horde, but my friend's been playing it since WoW was released and is Alliance so :(

Fairly good deal but if there isn't a store close by, there are also online retailers that are competitive with those prices too.

EDIT: Unless that is the total price for both, in which case it is a great deal. You just need this and the WOW Battlechest which can be had cheap online.

Ding dungeons / raids without a good guild can be really painful. You might want to consider raising a character on the RPvP Defias Brotherhood server where there is a OcUK Guild. Best to just drop a note in the main WOW thread on this forum, but I'm sure they will be happy to have you and it makes a great deal of difference to the experience....
