Getting Doom3 demo to run on Win7.

Hi,
Apparently the full version runs fine in Win7 / Vista 64 but I cannot get the demo to run. Anyone know of a work around for this. Seems to be a known problem. Ta.

Tried the normal things like compatability mode and admin right etc?

Yes, unfortunately to no avail. From having had a read on the web it seems the demo is not Win7 or Vista friendly. Wish I hadn't sold it now. Can't beat a bit of mindless shooting sometimes. So easy to get in to.

Steam version plays perfectly for me. Just had to mod the config file to support widescreen 1920x1200.
