When we had ADSL, TalkTalk were fine but since we've moved to VDSL, it's gone to ****.
The connection is terribly intermittent, websites take two minutes to load sometimes. Reported it to TalkTalk, got Openreach out, he found the issue but he said he can't build a REIN case because they don't have enough history of the issue (we've only had fibre a few weeks). TalkTalk's response: the fault is fixed, let's close it.
Even going through the CEO's office hasn't helped massively. At least you get somebody in the UK though.
It may cost £12 a month for unlimited fibre and anytime calls but it definitely is not worth it. It's not worth £0 in its current state. I think we'll migrate to Plusnet.
tldr: If you ever have a REIN issue or any kind-of complex fault, good luck with it. Support is a disaster.
