Thanks, Ben.

No, that's not true.

If the memory stick is formatted as FAT then you'll be fine. It's directly copying between NTFS and HFS+ that isn't supported natively. There are various third party apps that can get around this though.

UNFORTUNATELY!?!?!?!?! :p hehe just kidding...

This is false, a .psd document on Mac will be the same as Windows. What you have to watch out for is the format of your memory stick sometimes you can't write to a specific format on a Mac (I can't remember right now which one)

No, that's not true.

It is in a way.....

Won't it depend on the software versions between work and home rather than PC or Mac?

In a way yes....

:D :D :D FAT memory stick NOT NTFS + .PSD and you will be fine.

It's really not. A normal USB stick out of the packet will quite happily carry a Photoshop file from a Mac to a PC and back again and it will work on the same version of PS on both machines.

Any difference in PS version and whatnot is nothing to do with PC/Mac and is down to the software involved... just like it would be between two PCs. Or two Macs.

PSD is a proprietary format and OS has nothing to do with anything

But it is true, he can put the Photoshop file onto a USB stick and then transfer it to a MAC / PC without a problem. I know it is to do with the application not the OS I never said it was. ;)

I think the issue here is that lolage was asking :

if I do work on a mac I CAN'T then simply put say a photoshop document on a memory stick

Which PardonTheWait said was not true, which he is correct.

However I think iDroid may have mis read lolages first post as

if I do work on a mac I CAN then simply put say a photoshop document on a memory stick

Maybe? :D
