Getting flickering in games with gtx295

Games I play like mirrors edge and dead space are flickery when i turn left or right in game. In mirrors edge it's quite bad.

I have a gtx 295, i7 920, 1000w power supply. I have tried running the games with v synch on and off, tweaking the AA settings etc but still have the same problem.

Do I have a faulty card or something? I know the game shouldn't be like this. Running it at 1080P.

I get shimmering on Faith's arms in Mirror's Edge with the GTX 295 and the 185.85 drivers. (Haven't played Dead Space). No problems in Crysis, Crysis Warhead, COD 5, Far Cry 2. (Possible driver issue).
 
update ur bios and remember the latest gpu driver is not always the best....you need to run tests with various gpu drivers to see what best works for you,,,im currently using the Xtreme G 185.81 driver which gives me a higher vantage score than any other driver at 25k;)

I don't know? I haven't done anything to the drivers since I got the pc last month.

I've played Crysis and that is fine. Mirrors edge is pretty bad, if I fall to my death the screen flickers very rapidly. If I turn left or right the screen flickers across the middle until I stop turning. If I run straight forward and don't jump or turn around everything is perfect.
 
BUMP. Can someone please tell me if this 3dmarkvantage score is normal for my system (i7 920, gtx 295). Does it not seem low?

Also, run the latest version of GPU-Z and check you're running at PCI-E x 16
