I currenty have,

Galaxy s3 gmail app,
Asus transformer gmail app,
Pc

Now for some reason if i delete a email on one it wont delete on the others. How do i fix this so they stay synced properly.

You don't want to use IMAP on the Android devices, the Gmail app will handle everything, and if you delete in one it should be gone on the other and the Gmail web interface.

If you're using the app called GMail (ie not "Email") then it should do it by default, there's no way to set up what you want to use (IMAP, POP3).

Do you have the Gmail accounts set to auto sync? It might not tell the server you've deleted/moved stuff if you haven't got auto sync on or haven't manually synced after moving/deleting.

Edit: Tested it and without autosync on it will only update the server of moving/deleting after you've manually synced the account on the app.

I've never done that on any of my (3) GMail accounts .

Edit: IMAP is disabled for my GMail accounts, they all work fine. The GMail app doesn't care about that stuff, only apps like "Email" or random ones from the store like k9 :).

i for some reason thought he would be using something like outlook

if its via the web, then you dont need to set anything up (not sure if you have to swtich on imap on the settings though)

Ahh that's a fair point, if he is using Outlook or Thunderbird etc. he'll need IMAP switched on. Anything running Android should just "work" through the gmail app.
