Hi, i have the X800 gto2 graphics card, OC to 850 spec, running at 400 / 490 idle temps are 46*c and 44*c but the card has been fine throughout the winter months but as it seems to be getting warmer here in the UK I find during BF2 or some high action games I am getting my PC locking up.

I have not done anything to my PC recently at all. Same as it has been since I built it in November / December time 2005.

Fan on the graphics card is set as this photo I have just done.

Any ideas ? stumped me a bit. Just wondered if it was down to the warmer weather. ?

Just the warm weather, its playing havock with my SLi setup... case temps of like 48C lol

^As above probably just weather getting hotter, my 6800GT's temp's have risen in the past 4 days, have you checked to see if the fan is clean on the card?

Ninja :)

seems to be only on Bf2 and another SIM i use (for radio controll planes) specialist sim.

anyhow, gets up to around 67 - 70 when playing then pc will just crash, never did it in the colder winter months, just now when it is so much warmer.

This is not when i am OC my G-card, just normal usage.

Im pretty sure it will be down to that, I have a thermaltake Soprano case, and the front and side fans are drawing air in. fan seems fine on G-card, standard fan etc.

Any ideas on something to help stop this ?

was thinking of the Arctic Cooling Rev. 2 ATI 4 (X800 Series) VGA Silencer (HS-001-AR)
