Planning is only part of it. If you don't know the knowledge behind the lesson, how can you change things as you go / use differentiation. I think you'll find some things take longer or go quicker than you anticipated. What then?
Put simply, if you aren't 100% comfortable with the knowledge aspect, you shouldn't be teaching it.
