If you havent got substantial savings/uber pension plan how are you gonna survive?

on the £60 a week the gov gives you?

Just been watching Dispatches on ch4 about pensioners...jesus its a bit of a nightmare ehh.

Not eating, not putting heating on to survive from one day to the next; some of those featured are in dire straits indeed.

it makes depressing watching blimey...

nope before all em. (unless you own your own home and have paid off the mortgage)

i guess though, if you're living in council housing then you get rent and council tax paid for you (?) but gas and electricity nope you'd have to pay for them.

But most of the pensioners (on the program) kept their heating off for most of the time because it was so expensive.
