This year I am going to hit 36. I am beginning to feel a little bit unhappy about that. The main cause of this discontent is the use of age brackets in demographics.

I have been ticking the 18-35 bracket (or similar) for quite some time now. When I hit 36 I will be in the 36-OLD age bracket.

To round things off I went to the opticians yesterday to get my eyes tested. They told me I need to get glasses as I am mildly short-sighted.

This is how I felt yesterday....

....I really hope I can avoid any parties.

worse thing about getting old...

you still feel young mentally but your body starts to give out on you...

or so i'm told....

depressing!

:(:(

Almost 34 here and only in the past year I enjoy having the odd early night, even when I have no work in the morning:eek:

I'm 36 but I sure don't feel or act like other 36 year olds and I certainly don't class myself as being old.

I train at the gym 5 days a week, and put most people who are younger than me to shame.

Age is meaningless. However I do find a lot of my friends who are in the same age group as myself saying **** like "I'm getting on a bit now" or "I'm starting to feel my age" then I look at them and see how unfit and out of shape they are.

If you beleive you are old you'll become a product of your own making.

36 years old isn't old....you;re just coming into your prime my friend.

:) Enjoy life, keep yourself active and energertic.

Heh, I'm 20 and already I can feel time ticking by at the speed of light. I know how you feel but maybe a bit worse.
I thought to myself yesterday "I'm 20 and don't really have anything to show for myself". Hell the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Steve Jobbs had already accomplished so much by this time.

What am I doing. I can't imagine and nor do I want to imagine being 36, atleast if you feel accomplished and that you've spent your 36 years enjoying yourself then you don't have much to be unhappy about.

Hitting the big 30 later this year, but mentally I still feel (and at times act) 18. Thankfully my gf has the same childish streak.

Just turned 37 here and feeling better than ever.

Why worry about it? There's PLENTY of life left and arguably the best is yet to come in terms of prestige, attractiveness to women (of all ages) and earning power.

I'll might be thinking like this at 47, but 37? No way. Just look at all the guys owning in their late 30's / early 40's. It's clearly the age at which men can be at their absolute peak.

Save the age woes in the late 30's to the ladies, because it's no worries for a man if you take care of yourself.

I am not growing up quick enough, I should be getting drunk everynight but my sad soul is sitting here on an overclockers forum talking about nothingness.
