Getting Old...........

worse thing about getting old...

You still feel young mentally but your body starts to give out on you...

or so i'm told....

depressing!

:(:(

Very true, I hit 49 in a few weeks.:(

Only thing giving me problems are the knees & Achilles Tendons.

I'm 24 and hangovers are getting noticeable worse.

lol. im 37 (last feb) and i have all but stopped drinking booze. got fed up being hung over all weekend.

i also have a small child. which is bloody hard work when im pushing 40! i have the knowledge and im more worldly wise than a 20 year old but im also a bit knackered in the knee and back dept. and my mrs is 10 years younger than me and sometimes i think she wants to kill me off with sexual olympics :D

Count yourself lucky. I was already well on my way to going grey at 24 and eyes so bad (-11) I got free eye tests. I've had laser eye surgery since though.

Going to fracture clinic tomorrow as my hand has decided to seize up now.

On the subject of booze, when I was on my work placement during my degree, I could drink 3 pints and a couple double shots with my lunch and happily go back to work in the afternoon. One can of strongbow now and I'm zzzzzzzzzzz

I'm "only" 30 btw.

Im 32 later this year but look around 27. Im not too worried, just need to try and keep in shape more.

Heh, I'm 20 and already I can feel time ticking by at the speed of light. I know how you feel but maybe a bit worse.
I thought to myself yesterday "I'm 20 and don't really have anything to show for myself". Hell the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and Steve Jobbs had already accomplished so much by this time.

What am I doing. I can't imagine and nor do I want to imagine being 36, atleast if you feel accomplished and that you've spent your 36 years enjoying yourself then you don't have much to be unhappy about.

As a single guy, your mid/late 20's and early 30's are when you will really start enjoying life, providing you have a decent job and stable income. Just try not to get married too early, wait till your mid to late 30's when you've seen and done everything you want to do.

I'm a Grandad & 46 years old & still having a Blast, Reaching Forty gives you this Freedom of mind that I can't describe in words but can say it's worth the wait.

Skin begins aging, losing collagen at age 32-33 years.
The brain begins deteriorating aged 45 years.

The human lifespan is a lot shorter than you think when you actually work out how long it is in hours and taking into account when aging theoretically begins according to biochemistry.

31 here going 32, beeing weight lifting since I was about 20, my back ( strongest part) jsut gave out a few weeks ago, and is taking much longer to heal!...I miss teh bodies ability to bounce back from most pains!

Im not bothered about being 46, just if im a granddad at 46. :p

Point taken but I had very little choice in the matter. If somebody had told me some lad was ****** my daughter I'd have put him in the ground.
When I got told I was going to be a Grandad there in Love bla bla bla What could I do ? Kill my future Grandsons Dad ?
I just supported my Daughter & dealt with it.

It's even shorter when you consider the things we do with our lives which aren't really all that interesting or even "life". A 3rd of it goes on sleep, half on working and a good portion of the rest on the bog, shopping, DIY, illness, refueling the car, reparing the car, washing the car, cooking, eating, Sundays, etc.

Not that I'm a glass half empty kind of guy...
