Getting out of crapafone

I'm not saying it is, I'm just saying it's going to be hard for you to prove otherwise if it is indeed down to you believing what the sales person told you.

always the customers fault... of course it is.

You entered into a contract. You signed a document indicating you fully understood the terms you were entering into. Your fault.

By all means, had the contract said "roaming charged at £0.01 per minute", and they charged you £1.00 per minute, you might have a case, however you've ranted without giving any details as to the actual breach of contract you allege.

Your well past the 7 day cooling off period for a start, you then went abroad with your brand new contract pro-rata, without reading your own contract for costs abroad or packages that might be useful to you.

I can't really see how it's their fault?

The good news for you is contracts are deemed void if one of the parties lacks mental capacity.

Going by this thread I think you may have a case.

I think you arent understanding :) nevermind....
they told me different things when i signed up for the contract. now im signed up, its different.
there is no excuse for them to be rude and give me POOR customer service! this was not in the contract. if so, please tell me where cos I sure as hell cant find it!

You're right, there is no excuse for rudeness to current customers, I totally accept that. It's likely you were one of the extreme few who paid that day, fraud is mega millions in mobile land and while they take their job extremely srs business like, they should remember the customers position.

"Different things" - as in, your bill will be on the website but it's not? OK, I agree they may have made a mistake if it only shows bills from Contract+1month and this is pretty poor due to your current situation which is why i suggested you call, they should be able to provide you with the missing info.

But I always got a text saying that I have exceeded my allowance and will be charged the normal rates but no where near did I use more than 10MB on that day!!
You going over the data bolt on limit is not something voda can police though, likewise with calls, they are firmly user initiated and all costs are something that is really user controlled. Networks get a pasting a lot of the time for faults and it's true, I doubt anyone would say a network was perfect, but wording to the effect of "i didn't" isn't going to overly cut it - that's why i asked if you had a log of the data, like this:
http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39...ndroid-4.0-to-help-you-manage-your-data-plan/

While this isn't 100% accurate, we can at least establish what you did do over this time period if you have a 4+ Android.
