Getting Pure Speed From My Raptors

Hello all

Im going to reinstall Win XP Pro and i want the best load speeds out of my raptors, i also want them to load me into every map in Counter Strike Source first,

My Pc shouldnt be holding me back tbh, ive got a 2mb BB Connection, CPU @ 2.6 Ghz, and my RAM Oc'd to 215 Mhz.

Please could someone tell me the best stripe size to set my drives to ?

Last time i installed windows i set the biggest stripe size available, and it seems slow at loading windows

Well do you want Windows or games?

The thing about RAID0 is that any file which is smaller than the stripe size goes only on ONE disk, i.e. not in RAID0. Windows files are tiny, games files are massive.

Windows: 16K
Games: 64K +

Mixed: 32K.
