Getting ready for new GPU launch

if I'm strapped for cash but could achieve it with a sell of old hardware then upgrading, I'd do that. otherwise just buy the part and stick it in, still don't see my CPU needing a change for a few years and I'm not missing out on anything revolutionary with new mobos/cpus in respect to how much it would cost to overhaul

underclocking my 7970 by more and more... VRMs seem to be toast, keeps locking, but dont want to buy a new card until Polaris is out.

As soon as I know for sure of the 980Ti's replacement my cards will be out and for sale. I got lazy with my 780Ti's and didn't sell them quick enough :(.

Wait until the first overpricing goes away, and the early birds experiencing the problems, then decide what to get :)

Seriously?

Ok...

I Buy new card.

I Buy Waterblock for said card.

I then build it up with waterblock.

I then spend 4 hours draining, cleaning and renewing Watercooling system.

I replace watercooling system pipes.

I connect up new card.

I refill and hope to god that it works.

Takes a whole day. but its worth it.
