I was working with some fibreglass and resin outside in the garden and the smell has travelled into the house and it's quite bad. It's like a strong chemical smell.

Whats the best DIY method of getting rid of general odors? Short of going and buying some Glade Plug In's lol...

Ta.

Most people would try and mask it by spraying stuff or plugging in a glade plugin. Personally I'd have the windows open and let air circulate through the house.

Tried a candle with fragranced oil burner - would probably work eventually but a bit slow to get going...

Coffee worked a treat. Thanks :)

put some vanilla stuff on a tea towel and put it in the oven on the lowest setting ( make sure it cant catch fire) it fills the house with smell.

anthia turner taught me that

I was watching how clean is your house the other day and they made this guys fridge stop stinking by putting in a tray of charcoal, apparantly the carbon draws the small to it or something.

Might work :p

Whenever my dad does any painting indoors, he always buys a Onion and cuts it into cloves then leaves them around the house.

Dunno why though, because they smell even worse, he reckons it gets rid of it faster or something tho :s
