Hi Guys,

I'm going to start a new project at the beginning of February. I want to create my own custom theme - what's the best way of getting started with skinning?

Best place to start would be the official phpbb website.

Check to see if there is an existing style that could suit your needs, sometimes your lucky enough to find something that you can just tweak to suit:

You could also try mybb at www.mybboard.net which is an excellent board and has a good support community too.
