What you need to do is decide what your desired outcomes are to be.
Here are some handy starting places.
CPU
Ram
LLC
GPU
The whole precess is actually very simple and not complicated at all. I think you are maybe overcomplicating things a bit. Just spend some time paging through your manual, the bios section. All the options are listed there and their functions are described.
Auto should work just fine for all your settings on the CPU up to 4.4GHz.
GPU would benefit from increased amount of shared ram and a modest increase in core frequency. You will not be able to play demanding games at any kind of high settings. The gains will be measurable but no where near as much as a entry level discrete graphic card.
The secret to doing this whole process right is to take your time and enjoy the process. Learn while doing, that is the way forward. Each time you come to a setting or an option you are not familiar with google is your friend. Find out what that setting is meant to do. With SB you really only need to change three or four things.

Voltages in small increments if needed.
Here are some handy starting places.
CPU
- What is the frequency you wish your CPU to run 24/7
- Do you wish to have your CPU running at that frequency 24.7 or only when system is being used?
- If yes, leave all the CPU options at default.
- If no, disable C1E, Thermal Managment and Speedstep.
Ram
- Do you want to overclock your ram?
- Is your ram designed for SB?
- If yes to both those questions then enable Profile 1
LLC
- LLC is needed only if your system is unstable at the freqeuncy you have selecte.
- Can be found in the voltage page, right at the top.
GPU
- Determine what your GPU is caperble of.
- Determin what added voltage is needed to achieve that frequency.
- Test for stablility using your tool of choice
