Getting to Drayton Manor

Me and my girlfriend are thinking of heading to Drayton Manor tomorrow. The only problem is that we're unsure of the best way to get there. We're living in the halls at Aston Uni so it's easy for us to get the train from New Street. I found two stations nearby, the closest being Wilnecote Station then Tamworth Station slight futher away.

I was wondering if anyone who lives in the Tamworth area or anyone who has been to Drayton manor knows the best way of getting to Drayton Manor by train? Would it be best to walk from Wilnecote Station or go to Tamworth station and get a taxi, or are there any bus service?

Tamworth station then get a taxi.

Taxi will only be a few quid too.

There used to be a bus service from Birmingham City Centre.

I'd expect there is also one from Tamworth if you're getting the train there.

Thanks for the help, I think we'll got to Tamworth Station and work from there. There is a bus service from Carrs Lane in Birmingham to Drayton Manor but it is only on certain days of the month and we have exams and other plans that clash with most of the dates.
