Getting unwanted hassle from someone - how do I block a number?

Hi,

I'm getting a bit of unwanted hassle from my ex-girlfriend - to the point where it's getting very tiresome getting constant missed calls from her.

Is blocking a number easy to do - is it just a case of calling Vodafone and asking them to block a number, or do the police etc have to be involved?

I had a mate who had this problem once; it was all sorted with a 10 minute phone call to his provider (Orange iirc). He just said he wanted the number blocked and that was it. For a bit.

It took 'her' about 3 days to work this out and change her number...

He ended up just changing his

I solved it, called Vodafone and they supplied me with a new number there and then
