Getting up for F1...trust alarm?

Haven't set Android alarm on a sunday after clock change before. Do I set it for the time I need to get up, or for an hour before in case it doesn't automatically change?

Is your date/time set to automatic? If so it'll automatically update when the clocks go forward.

Really paranoid? Work it out yourself then set the countdown timer.

Android's time-update due to DST works just fine, as does the Alarm when DST updates.

I really have to be getting a bus at 8am tomorrow, I have set my alarm to 7am.
I'm assuming even though I have the time setting set to automatic, if I did set it an hour forward now, then at 1am it just would update to the same time anyway? I doubt it send a 1hr forward setting but more the correct exact time!
Sound like a fool proof idea or not?

Afaik If you put your clock forward 1 hour now, it will still get a +1 on it. Unless your phone is getting network time updates or another online source/syncing from your PC then your phone only knows what time it is from what you set it at.

Mine did it around 10pm automatically.

Worth noting for next year I guess ;p

Android will be fine, it's only the iPhone that hasn't figure out daylight saving yet.

Pretty pointless mentioning it now, but if you are paranoid then for future reference, just change the date on your phone to yesterday.

Had mine in flight mode and it still changed the clock forward fantastic.

Set mine for 9.30am at 11.30pm and it told me there were 9 hours til beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

So I knew it was going to be grand.

I was reassured by when I set my alarm (around midnight saturday night) it came up with the usual "alarm set to go off in x hours time" and I could tell from the time it said that it was going to work.
