How long should this take? I bought a Filco just after Christmas and I'm finding I'm still making loads of typing errors, I could touch type quite successfully on my old cheap crappy wireless keyboard, I'd probably had that about 2-3 years.

Am I still adapting or is it going to be a problem? It feels like I'm almost there but then I'll just completely fail and mistype a few words about five times before getting it right. I find I'm hitting multiple keys all the time.

I had the same problem going from my saitek cyborg v5 to a Corsair Gaming K70 RGB, now its not to bad 3 months in.

Yeah me too, ive used the standard cheap MS Keybaord for like 15 years, tehn i finally swapped to a logitec and it felt wierd for a few weeks, you will soon get used to it though.

Cool, there's no way I'll be swapping it I was just hoping I'd have it sorted by now.

The biggest and most frequent mistakes are when I go from the main letter key section over to one of the shifts, return or backspace key, when I come back to the letters from those keys I'm always in the wrong places.

Try re-typing out passages from news articles. That'll get your hands working on the keyboard and help you to get used to the keys quicker.

You will eventually get used to it, but I personally think the biggest change and the hardest thing to get used to is when you chance from ISO to ANSI. The long left shift, enter key on one line, etc. :)
