Getting windows to format a HDD with ubuntu on it...?

I have got a 120gig HDD that I want to format and use for a fresh windows install on an old PC. The trouble is widows won't recognise it due to it being used for the last few months with ubuntu on it.

Any ideas.?

Try http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

Use your XP as a boot disc and format it through that, just stop the process before it installs windows. Probably an easier way but its how I've always cleaned hard disks lol.
