Now, it won't be this year, more likely next. I note, from my Google machine, that GM UK are looking to start the import of the Camaro from the beginning of next year.

Realistically, are we going to see them at the prices we can spec them for in the US? I spec'd one up at around £28k fully loaded 2SS 6.2l V8 Auto.

Something similar here now costs upwards of £40k. :(

Don't mind having the 3.6 V6 version (1LT, 2LT) but as I will have use of this car too, may as well rock out :)

probably works out a lot cheaper by ou taking a trip to america, buying one there and shipping the car in a container to the uk.

28K and 40K bit out of your price league i would have thought maybe just lease a Mondeo or something until you can afford to buy something nice:)

Dont you currently lease the BM?

Thought fox said he allways used to lease his cars so he's gonna be stretching himself to this i would have thought, also an american V6/8 is hardly practical is it:confused:

a good friend of mine owns 17 properties and his own photography business he can easily buy and run most things this side of exotica, yet he chooses to lease his car.
For example his current car will cost him £3000 for the lease for the year, he would have lost more than that in depreciation over the year.

just because someone leases a car has no bearing on their financial status.
and if it did who are you to judge?

Andy

Exactly. My business partner leases an M3 something or other (the newer one, I'm not a petrol head). Works out better than buying one, especially when it breaks.

On topic, I believe you can spec right hooker cars in the US. Dealers there are far more accomodating than they are here. Just depends if GM make right hand drives already? Import duty would be a bit of a hassle too, I believe

Show me something you can lease for £3000 all in per annum with a realistic mileage cap that isn't a ford fiesta or something else fairly basic.
