gf's having problems with orage (wannapoo) broadband

Withe the recent storm, most of the electronics in the gf's house seem to have been knocked out. she's got no freeview, and no braodband from orange. she's upstairs, normally connected wirelessly to the router, but the router doesnt wanna know.

Now she's just managed to connect, but its not to orange apparently....apparently she's connect to a network called "MSWnet". i had her do a speed test from ADSL guides, and they reckon she's using an NTL IP lol. by the sounds of it she's manages to pick up an NTL wireless network somewhere local. Is there any way i can definately varify this? she doesnt want to 'hack', but its better than nothign and she only uses it for msn lol

Go to something like www.whatismyip.com and you'll get whatever public IP the connection has.
