HI Guys

My friends GFX 295 is idling at 70 - 72 degrees, and I have just played 2 minutes of COD MW2 and it went over 90 degree, was only playing for about 2 minutes, is this card overheating????? or is this normal.

The system in a I7 920, not overclocked at the moment, in a TJ-07 Case, with a H50 Corsair CPU Cooler

well it`s certainly not normal...temps are crazy high. Airflow must be poor? . Have you checked the fan is actually working on the 295? All your temps are high...H50 blowing in or out of case?...definitely recommend blowing out (push/pull) instead of heating the case.....check temps with side off case....is the 12v rail on the psu giving enough juice? the screenie from HWMonitor seems to suggest not (10.3v max?)....not sure if this would stop the fan operating properly on the card?

the h50 is blowing into the case, no push/pull thats what corsair recommended

i have the rad mounted in the roof of case(nowhere else to put it) fans blowing in and exhaust fans at back of case.

should i change it round so the exhaust are blowing in 2x 80mm and roof fans exhausting.......

its the tj-07 case

fan is working ok on the card, well seems to be anyway

These are the temps with side panel off

These are Idle temps

OK I thinking about turning the fans around in her case, make the top fans exhaust (one will have the H50 Rad attached Exhausting from the case) and the rear fans Intake - will that help

Also I have 2 Noctua NF-P12 fans hanging around, am thinking about changing to Corsair fan on the H50 to have push/pull Noctua, what do you guys think?????

I have just set up Rivatuner, i'm just wondering as I have a dual PCB 295 that I have to set the temp guides for both PCB's???? see below... please let me know if this is right...

Thanks

Temp Profiles for both PCB's GPU0 Core Temp/GPU1 Core Temp

Looks like this...........

Plus Does Rivatuner have to be running all the time, for this to work, ie adjusting fan speeds????
