Hi chaps,

easy one i think, i've built a dedicated streaming / recording PC and new a GFX card which I may use for Hardware encoding. I was going to get a 970 but would that be overkill, i mean, would there be ANY performance difference encoding on a 960 over a 970 for example?

To confirm, no gaming will be done on this PC, purely game capture only.

Cheers. :p

Hi mate,

Cheers for your reply,

Sorry I didn't think it mattered which software was being used.. but I'm using Xsplit Broadcasting, OBS Multiplatform and Elgato Game Capture HD.

The streaming PC specs are well above the recommended specs of all 3.

Cheers,
