Hi all

Well my gfx card has finally given in the ghost! And i'm after the cheepest replacement i can get. I have (had) a BFG 8800GTX OC2, which performance wise is absolutly great (other than it not working that is)

I'm not looking for anything particulaly fancy and really don't want to spend more than £100 (if that) I don't get chance to do much gaming these days although might get the latest il2 at some point. I don't particulaly mind if it's Nvidia or ATI, just needs to do the trick!

The rest of my system is:

Abit IP35 pro
Intel Q6600
4 Gig XMS2 Ram
620W PSU (I think Corsair)

Thanks in advance

TT

Thanks in Advance

For £108 this card is by far the best one available in the ~£100 price range and generally great value.

If you absoluetly can't go over £100 then the HD 5830 for £87 is still good value - but not as good as the HD 5850 (this chart shows how the two cards compare).

Thanks for the responses, The 5830 and 5850 look about right, are they better value than an nvidia equivilant and what would the equivilant be? The GTX460 is way out my price range (getting married in a month, got no money left)

Thanks guys

I'm going to just go with that 5850 me thinks, can't spend too much brain power in deciding (thats why i love this forum) one last quick question. This might sound dim, but having run Nvidia for many years now, is there likely any issues with running ATI on my Intel system?
